Singaporeans, PR, and Passholders Should Know About SingPass Registration and Office Counter

 SingPass is a gateway to hundreds of digital services provided by over 60 government agencies, including the Accounting Authority of Singapore (ACRA), the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), and the Central Provident Fund Board, allowing users to connect and transact with the government with just one password. Who Can Apply


SingPass registration is available to the following groups of users aged 15 and up:


(a) Permanent Resident and Singapore Citizen Passholders 

(b) (Employment Pass and Personalised Employment Pass, EntrePass, S-Pass, Dependant Pass, Long Term Visit Pass-Plus)

(c)  Selected Work Permit Holders who need to use SingPass to conduct e-Service transactions.

How to Register for SingPass

To apply for a SingPass, go to www.singpass.gov.sg and click 'Register for SingPass.' Next, double-check your SingPass eligibility and that the address on your NRIC/FIN card is valid. Before clicking 'Register Now,' make sure you've read and agreed to the Terms of Service.

Then enter your information and the verification code you'll get by SMS. You can submit the form once you've finished entering your information. Now all you have to do is wait for your SingPass password to arrive at your registered address. You should receive your package within five business days if you have a Singapore address.


How Do We Create a SingPass Account?

You can set up your SingPass account using the SingPass Mobile App or the SingPass website now that you've registered.


SingPass Mobile App registration


You can set up your SingPass account and SingPass Mobile app after obtaining the PIN Mailer. Download 'SingPass Mobile' from the App Store. Before you download the programme, make sure the developer is 'Government Technology Agency.' You can start using the app after reading the Terms of Service and Privacy Statement. To finish setting up your SingPass Mobile app, tap 'Okay.' After that, you'll get a message asking you to accept SingPass Mobile to send you notifications.


Log in to your SingPass account using your SingPass ID and the one-time password that was provided to your registered address in the PIN Mailer. Create your SingPass password by logging into your SingPass account with your SingPass ID and the OTP password provided in the PIN Mailer that was sent to your registered address. After the app checks your identity, you can establish a 6-digit passcode to use with SingPass Mobile to verify your identity. You may now utilise your SingPass Mobile app!


Register on the SingPass website.


You must use your SingPass ID and password to set up your SingPass account on the SingPass website. When your account information is changed, SingPass will notify you. Click 'Next' after selecting your preferred mode. To ensure that your contact information is correct, enter the One-Time Password provided to your cellphone number (and email address). Click 'Next' after creating your new SingPass password. Your SingPass account has been successfully updated!
